Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Coach Himanshu.

I'm a FIDE-rated, 2195-rated Chess.com player with two years of experience coaching kids online across 12+ countries — from absolute beginners to young tournament competitors.

My goal isn't just to teach your child how pieces move — it's to teach them how to think through complex problems patiently. Every lesson is live on Zoom. I adapt to how your child thinks, so they stay engaged and actually improve.

How we teach

The method behind every lesson.

No boring lectures. No memorising openings. Just thinking, playing, and improving.

Structured, not scripted

A 4-level curriculum with 6 modules each — but the pace and examples adapt to every student.

🔍

Puzzles before theory

Kids discover ideas through positions and puzzles first. The explanation clicks because they already found it.

🎯

Play with purpose

Every practice game has a goal — "castle before move 10", "only capture with pawns". Games become focused training.

📋

Review real games

We go through their actual games together. Finding their own mistakes teaches more than any textbook.

🙋

Patient with every kid

Shy, hyperactive, quiet, chatty — every child is different. Lessons meet them where they are.

📈

Parents stay in the loop

Summary after every class. Detailed progress report every two weeks. No guessing how they're doing.

Inside a lesson

What 45 minutes actually looks like.

0–5 min

Warm-up puzzle

A quick tactical puzzle to get the brain switched on. Matched to their current level.

5–20 min

New concept

The main lesson topic — taught through interactive positions, not slides. The student is always clicking, thinking, answering.

20–35 min

Guided play

A practice game with a specific goal related to today's topic. Coach watches and gives live nudges.

35–45 min

Review & homework

Quick review of the game they just played. Homework assigned — puzzles, a position to study, or a game to analyse.

What parents say

Real feedback from real families.

— Parent of James, age 7

"The coach is incredibly patient. My daughter is shy but she opens up during lessons. It's the one screen time I feel good about."

— Parent of Lily, age 6

"We tried chess apps but nothing worked until we found real coaching. The structure and accountability make all the difference."

— Parent of Oliver, age 9
